Planlogic was founded in the context of the deregulation of the UK gas and power industries, and the subsequent liberalisation of the European gas and power markets.
Since the company’s formation in 1994, Planlogic consultants have been providing knowledge led services and solutions to help our clients manage these changes and capitalise on new market opportunities.
Our experience has since extended across the global markets and commodity set, helping clients deal with portfolio management, risk management and financial accounting requirements in the context of complex contractual terms and logistics management. Planlogic has been at the forefront in developing software to manage these risks and we currently provide tailored risk management solutions to some of the world’s leading LNG trading companies.
With a background in these highly complex markets Planlogic has built capability and reputation for delivering both bespoke build and packaged vendor solutions across all commodity asset classes. Along the way we have enhanced this capability by learning from our experiences and crystallising our retained knowledge in a range of frameworks, toolsets and methodologies that enable us to accelerate project delivery without compromising on quality. By demonstrating our expertise and so becoming trusted by the people on the ground, we have been able to short-cut a lot of the debate and trial-and-error that often makes consultancy-led implementations expensive and ineffective.
2014 has been an exciting year for Planlogic, with the successful completion of a major LNG systems implementation at BP and the introduction of a Sales Director to help further grow our business. We are looking forward to new challenges, as well as continuing to work closely with our existing clients to help them achieve their future business objectives.
